These few days blogspot has kinda of problem accessing it. Two days ago, I have to repost my entry few times then only it got through.... damn!
Anyway....
Yesterday I had my appointment with the dentist to make another retainer for my teeth. Sadly, the moment he checked my teeth he said he was unhappy the way my teeth was done, I meant the braces I had before back home. He noticed straight away that some of my teeth were trimmed, to make in look thin. My former dentist back home said the reason he did that because he wanted 'to match my small face with the size of my front teeth'. I told the dentist yesterday about that and he said that was not the way it should be done. He said he's the orthodontic specialist and he knows what it should be. Well... I knew I could believe the dentist in Lugano rather than back home. I paid a lot but the result was not that good. The dentist yesterday asked me if I had my teeth 'glued' after removal of the braces. I said it was never done! He said, it supposed to be glued! Anyway..I had my measurement for my retainer and I will have to get it fix by next week. It takes only one week to do it, unlikely back home, I waited for one month or so to get it done. I asked if I had to pay some money, but the dentist said I would only have to pay once I got my retainer. No deposit needed! Well, I may need to 'fix' the condition of my teeth soon but until I get married a millionair in Switzerland then only I would be able to do that hahahahaha... It's so damn expensive! Luckily the dentist is good looking...with a nice smile :D (klu dentist pun gigi buruk...baik x payah kan hahahaha....)
So....despites that not so good story, I have 2 good news :D First, I got a part time job during summer. I didn't apply and was not even looking for it. On Monday, my friend Salma sent an sms to me, asking what language do I speak back home and if I want to work during Summer. She told me that the company she's working with is looking for someone from MALAYSIA because they are dealing with Malaysia for some business. They need someone from the country who really familiar with the place especially with the language!!! One of our professors (teaching us cultural history of tourism) has recommended me to the company. So that was why Salma informed me :D Our professor has good contacts with them so his recommendation is strong. I am happy. Besides me, there are still looking for my Chinese classmate, to work for China market.
The company is dealing with tourism related services. They are the organizer of the major tourism (meeting luxury they call it) exhibition in Lugano yearly. This time around, they are looking for market in Malaysia and Indonesia. The exhibition will be held in February 2009. It's a two-way benefits; the organizer will be able to market their business and the participants/exhibitors will get the opportunity to sell and market their destinations. This morning I went to the office and meet the boss. They have started contacted some contacts in Malaysia and I was asked about Terengganu :D I told the manager a bit about the attractions in Terengganu especially the islands. It is one of the tourist attractions in Malaysia. I told them that Malaysia-Indonesia do understand one another, although it's not very much but still both countries can have a conversation due to the similarity of the language. It is like between Italian and Spanish. Both can understand each other. So besides Malaysia, I will look for market in Indonesia too. They have also already contacted Jakarta for this purpose. Soon I will be handling all those. I am so excited about this. It must be good to get in touch with tourism-related companies back home :D If the job is good, I may turn it to be my internship which will earn me 6 credits :D This can be arranged...Now I am so proud as the only Malaysian student in USI hahahaahha...previously it was so saddened :p The company wants to have multi nationalities to work for them - for languages and familiarities of related places purposes. For the next event, they are aiming for 60 exhibitors worldwide to participate in the biggest exhibition ever, here in Lugano :D

I was sooooooooooooooooo ecstatic, to find out the result for my Communication and Tourism exam.... I knew I could pass it as I was like saying to myself hoping to get 8 or 8.5...but instead I got 9.5! I was jumping around in my room hahahaha....and as usual even if I got 6 (ngam2 pass hehe) I would send a text to Salma and my other friend, Giulia informing them about it. I asked Giulia to check it too and I bet she got good result too but I guess she's on holiday because she didn't reply my sms. Salma didn't do the exam this time. She will do it next Semester. I am happy :D Now waiting for the last result to come....which is Event Management....not sure what will I get... I know I will pass (jgn ckp duluan hahaha) but don't know what grade will it be...
So far...I am happy for myself hehehehe....
