I thought I could never  trust the weather forecast anymore but it seems today’s prediction is right. Lightning and rain took its turn since late last night. Our neighbour has then switched off their wireless last night thus making me to surrender to bed a little bit early than usual :p

Yesterday was just not my day. I was totally drunk even with only a 3/10 or 3dl (1 big glass) of white wine during lunch! I don’t know out of a sudden I wanted to drink wine for lunch hahaha!  My other half came to visit me over the weekend and as usual we would hang out at our favourite restaurant in Lugano – Ristorante del Sole - sometimes for lunch or dinner.  Unless it is closed, we have never visited other restaurants around here ever since we found this one.  It was introduced by an acquaintance of mine in which consequently made me fell for it since then.  My favourite menu ever would be the "Trionfo Spaghetti di mare"; spaghetti cooked with prawns, mussels and clams. I have never changed my menu since the first time I visited the restaurant except once but I didn’t like it so I switched back to my favourite trionfo spaghetti. Normally we would order one plate of trionfo spaghetti and would ask the restaurant to divide it into two plates since it has a big portion. I wouldn’t be able to finish it by myself alone (selalu kena marah sbb makanan x abis :p).  Then we would order again for another dish, either grilled fish or steak – also would be divided into two plates and share between us. Normally I would take a small portion for the second one (nnt ambik big portion, x abis, kana marah pula huhuhu).

The price is quite reasonable, the food is yummy and the service is excellent. One word I would tag it = AWESOME! It is no surprise, due to its awesome ‘status’ I bet that would be the reason this place is usually packed with people especially on weekend (mmm..promotion hehe).

I slept as soon as we got home – leaving him hooked on the internet by himself. I woke up around 4.30pm (I think so) after 1½ hours dozing off.  After he left for Germany around 5pm, I started to feel uneasy about my head – started getting headache just because of drinking 1/3 bottle of wine? I realize that my drinking stamina has now faded. Ahhh…this is what we call the sign of ageing! The worst part was, every time after a drinking session, I would suffer a death headache that forced me to take some aspirins to kill away the pain…. (this is not good huh?). It was the same thing too yesterday. Damn it!  That’s also the reason why I seldom go out with friends for any drinking sessions these days. Well, they are not that type who would push you out of limit or something and be drunk deathly but for the sake of my own health too, I think it’s about time to reduce it. The warning has come that there will be no more drinking excessively next time! So friends back home…mmm….jgn marah klu diriku tumbang lps satu kali biris ni hahaha :p

This reminds me when we were in Dubai, there was a chilling out session with Salma’s friends (I don’t know the place exactly but it is by the beach :p). Drinking was so great until we didn’t realize (especially myself – lupa diri abis: that was the result when over excited superseded other things :p) that I had ‘happily and eagerly consumed’ one shot after another of Tequilla until it accumulated to 8 shots!  I was deadly drunk that night. On our way back to the hotel, they stopped by at one eating out place for supper (or an early breakfast?).  I couldn’t carry myself out of the car and even could barely walk.  Felt like I was walking in my sleep! I thought of staying in the car to sleep but they asked me to go along with them for safety reasons. Guess what, after an attempt to sleep in the car failed, I had successfully slept on the seats in the restaurant!!! (Malu!) Muahahaha…. Oblivious about the surrounding and couldn’t care less what was happening around!!  I guess Giulia had taken a photo of me while I was ‘closing my eyes and admiring the seats’ (not actually sleeping lol :p.) The next day, I had an acute hang over – so the remedy was to swallow some Panadol!!!  Again, the following night (our last night in Dubai), they went out one more time (as a way to bid Dubai goodbye I supposed) but I decided to not joining them. Instead, I went shopping (or precisely window shopping & cuci mata :p) since the location of our hotel is only a few minutes away from a big shopping complex. I couldn’t afford a bad hang over anymore, as the next day, early morning, it was the day we flew back to Switzerland! (takut koloboi sbb kogutan, nah lugai2 nnt di Dubai katinggalan flight hahaha)..

Moral of the story: pre-take panadol before drinking to avoid being attacked by headache and hang over later (buli ka begini? Hahahaha…matilah babu kamu ni!!!)...just kidding ..huhuhu...for sure from now on I determine to stay sober for health reason!
