Well...I guess Beyonce has lifted my spirit to update my blog after ages abandoning it ...muahahaha... so here I come!
Anyway, what can I say BEYONCE is sooooooooooooooooooo amazing! I thought I would be too damn exhausted standing for 2 hours watching her on stage. It was actually beyond my assumption! I was wrong!!! I've decided to watch the concert as I thought (and would be true) that she would never appear in Malaysia :p
The concert was held in Hallenstadion, Zurich. It was already being inundated by fans as early as 5pm (or maybe earlier than that) as when we arrived around that time, there were so many of Beyonce's fans gathered at the entrance. All were enthusiastically waiting the gates to be opened!
She started her show energetically with Crazy in Love followed by Naughty Girl. She rendered all her songs from her new debut, I am Shasha Fierce. Among other songs that I could clearly recalled besides those from her new album were Irreplaceable (it was acoustic version initially and later turned into normal version and mixed with You Oughta Know - Alanis Morrissette), Listen, Say My Name. The song You Oughta Know has part of its lyric something like this Are you thinking of me when you f**k her? She shouted after the word 'when' (you say what???) hahahaha....that was cool :p I like her rendering the song Ave Maria (mixed with Angel - Sarah Mclachlan), it was like a blink of eyes and you could already see her with a very gorgeous so-called wedding gown. Before the Irreplaceable song, she had about 5 minutes break and returned to the crowd flying!!! (Dia tiru Faizal Tahir ni tau hahahaha). She was flying to the center of the hall and at the same time did some acrobatics! keh keh keh....terer pula dia....
The two hours concert was seem so short! It was such an entertaining and amazing show from Beyonce with I guess only 1 minute interval for clothes changing (same style but different colours). She brought with her all females band members, 3 fantastic female as back up singers and dancers as well as 4 drop dead gorgeous male dancers (six pack yo! hahaha). It reminds me the male dancers back home (most or maybe some? of them - sooooooooo 'fragile' :p). The crowds were so enthusiastic and lively especially the teenagers. People at the seated area were even had themselves standing (most of them), enjoying themselves, getting ecstatic with the show. Back home you could have already heard people would be shouting, asking you to sit down! (oooiiii duduk la apa mau bediri ni, ko ingat ko strng ja byr tikit ka?) <--- I seem to feel hearing these phrases hahahaha
Having witnessed her on stage - live performance, I am sure she will never be allowed to perform in Malaysia unless she switches her appearance to a conservative one :p (for instance, maybe a knee-length skirt probably? hahaha). It was only when rendering her song Listen the particular time she put up a long white dress. The rest, I don't have to explain in details, you know how Beyonce is :D That even minus how they were dancing huhuhu.....gagarannnnn!!!
The concert was concluded with a song from her new album, Halo! The song Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) was really awesome. The crowds were really getting into it :D I terribly had fun at the concert but the saddest part was, not a single picture of Beyonce was captured! It was my fault huhuhu.. I was so engrossed with my SLR Camera and abandoned my digital still camera which I was not aware that SLR (optical lense) was not allowed uwaaaa... 'This is too big' the crew at the entrance utterred to me when he checked my bag....cisssss....My SLR has finally rested in the car for that memorable night (sob..sob..sob...) My friend brought a camera along but before I could capture the best angles of Beyonce, I have to be content enough with my own picture (buat apa ambil gmbr sendiri di konsert Beyonce :p) and be despaired/hopeless as it was already out of power!!! muahahaha...pakai bateri lori mangkali baru ok :p I don't know when there will be another chance for me to catch Beyonce on stage again.....rugiiiiiii (I just managed capturing some snaps of the crew at the entrance..buat apa!!! hahahaha)
Moral of the story: Kalau dapat gading bertuah, janganlah kasi tinggal2 tanduk karabau!!! :p
