Let's do some recaps!!! What have been missing since I 'paused' blogging few months ago (or rather a year ago :p)
September 08: I got a new company in the university. Three more Malaysians came to pursue their studies. Two of them are husband and wife - attending their Masters in Finance while the other is my friend, Ina, who is pursuing the same studies as mine. So we are now 4 Malaysians in the university :D. I re-sit for the 2nd time one subject that I flopped due to my own carelessness...and was happy to pass it (just a pass... yey! :D)
October 08: I moved out from the studio apartment I rented previously into a new house which I am now renting with my friend. We have two bedrooms, living room + kitchen, one toilet and one bathroom. Monthly rental??? hahahaha....I think I better keep it...mahal tahap dogo!!! The good thing with this new house is, we had an internet connection 'courtesy' by our dear beloved and caring neighbour!!!! muahahahaha....Another Malaysian arrived, teaming up with the existed Malaysians thus increasing the number of Malaysian students into 5! Yes...we are now five (only) in the university..yey!
In october too I received two visits; the first one was from my aunt who is currently working in South Africa. She was on his way back to Sabah for a month's holiday. She decided to make a 'transit' in Lugano and stayed with me for 2 weeks. Both of us made a weekend getaway to Barcelona (smpi tidur di airport ni - bagagar kasajukan :rotl:). Another damn thing, we missed the train from Milan to Lugano! sontoloyo abis! Lucky enough one of my classmates is from Milan, she put us up in her house :p (muka x malu la)
The other visit was from my long lost friend, Stephanie who have been residing in the UK since the year 2000 (even got her PR already). She is one of the musketeers as we labeled our group (plagiarized and pirating the infamous musketeer figures as 3 stooges was not in our dictionary muahahaha). We were 3 in our group, used to do all impromptu things but yet still sooo much fun & excitement (as we defined it everytime :p) She is from Penang and the other one, Mildred is from Singapore. Steph and I have not been in contact for about 10 years(???) since we left UK gheez... Lucky thing was, she had been keeping my house phone number in Tenom safely (the good thing was we never change number since we first installed it :p). It happened my sister was in Tenom when she called who then told her that I am now in Switzerland. In fact Mildred and I tried to locate her but to no avail!! Things sped off 'furiously', after exchanging 2-3 emails, the moment I knew she was already in front of me! Yey!!! was so elated and ecstatic to have been meeting her again - reminiscing those days (especially all the crazy stuff in Wolverhampton donkey years ago). The atrocious + a little bit excitement part as I love to call it was Steph and I had still managed to do a not-so-criminal act. We both conspired, to keep her visit from being leaked out to the other friend in Singapore. We captured the best possible shots and sent to her inbox! Yes! She was so envious! Mission accomplished! Muahahaha.....Miss these two 'close yet so far' friends so much.
November 08: I tried to recall harder, and I believe there was nothing special happened. It was only my birthday and all those crazy university stuff to complete. My birthday - there was no special celebration (no more surprise by Jacque & the geng. --- uwaaaa I missed that moment badly!) Nasib baik masa tu harga minyak masih murah - round KL bah - ulang alik Sg. Buloh and Kajang (gagagaga...si dura katawa). Got a special gift though! yey!!! *grin*
December 08: My family members: elder sisters, her son and hubby, my aunt and two younger sisters of mine, Pipa & Ninie came to visit me (read: vacation in Switzerland) huhuhu..... They spent a month with me...yey!! :D I was supplied with a pile of food stock -- pucuk ubi: my all time favourite (or some 'smart'+alecs called it tahi kerbau - damn it!), 2 boxes of maggi (kari letupppsss - padas brbs ni-karual airmata masa makan), bambangan, tuhau, ikan masin, udang kering, sotong kering, bilis, spices and a lot more). Our fridge was totally stuffed with these food. Sorry my memory has now lapsed, I couldn't recall well other things they brought along with them because all the food were consumed already huhuhu. Just an idea, imagine one big luggage + one medium sized box, contained all local stuff (local is referring to Msian or Sabahan food). The only one missing was jaluk or bosou *drooling* Couldn't smuggle! :p We visited Florence, Milan, Rome and some places around Switzerland. The amusing time was when we visited Airolo, one of the ski areas! The level of snow couldn't be explained by words (maybe by number - measuring tape). My nephew was enjoying himself with snow ball fights! We had Xmas party too. So much fun for being reunited with my family members after a year being away! A month with them was not enough! Sensed completely soooooo empty after they left as if they took along a part of me with them*sob* Felt like being deserted! Our family bonds are very fervent and formidable that made me lost my euphoric mood for a while the moment they went off! *miss them badly now*
Celebrated the coming of New Year 2009 in Rome (again). Watched an Italian musical theatre Poveri Ma Belli - darn! It was awesome. I still couldn't understand Italian well but the theater musical was not so hard to understand! (or was it the sign that I 'improved' my Italian after come sta, bene, grazie? *hopeful* :p) Audiences were given bottles of wine to welcome the new year. Cool huh? But I just sipped a little (takut kalapik dlm theatre) ekekeke.....
